How it works
Resizing resamples the image on a canvas at the dimensions you choose. With aspect ratio locked, changing either dimension calculates the other. Unlock the ratio only when deliberate stretching is acceptable. Percentage mode scales both sides from the original, rounds to whole pixels and keeps each side at least 1 pixel. Switching modes preserves their separate settings.

Frequently asked questions
Does resizing crop the image?
No. The whole image is kept. If you need a different shape without stretching, use Image Cropper.
What is the size limit?
The output must fit within 16 million pixels, with each side no longer than 8,192 pixels. Device memory can impose a lower limit.
